Nice sites. I am digging that trailer for sale. "YOU DO NOT HAVE ROOM IN THE DRIVEWAY", says wife's voice in head. I am looking forward to progress reports. Red Dirt

If you don't have room in the driveway, it fits nicely in the garage or spare guestroom. ;D

Is that a decal or an emblem over the front window?

The emblem on the Shasta above the front window is a decal that is starting to peel. (One more thing to attend to this spring after a bath.) There is snow on it this morning so I'm not sure when warm weather plans to arrive this year. =)
The 1962 Compak is still for sale and attracting some wonderful vintage enthusiasts whom I wouldn't have met otherwise. It's all good.
Have just added Old World Caravans to my Campalumna.com site. It's a gallery of European manufacturers' trailers. Some fabulous designs that predate our American brands which are also listed. Brian, would you mind adding my site to your blog listing? Thanks so much!

I'm replying to my own blog posting to let you know that my 1962 Compak is now reduced to $2500. It's camping season and the driveway's a lonely place for a beautiful vintage trailer. This one needs a good home and some travel adventures this summer. At just 1300 lbs, this one can be towed by a smaller SUV/sedan. Ready to roll and pulls like a dream. www.campalumna.comclick on the Compak
