Sorry, I should have included this in the last post. Does the black water tank have to go directly below the toilet? I would think so but have never messed with one. Are the gray water drain lines something like 1 1/2" pipe, that all have to run down hill to the tank? all this stuff seems to be getting a little tight in a trailer. Wayne

it can be anywhere as long as it is lower than drain in the bottom of the toilet, the only issue may be cleaning it out, because know you have a few feet of line to flush out, and this also increases your chances for a clog
lots of people try to design it where you can flush your black water tank with your grey water tank, by connecting the two with pipe and shut off valve and have the black water tank lower than the grey water.
