Of all the exterior aluminum the door is what is trashed. Not real bad but instead of fixing/ replacing the original latch the PO scabbed in a chunk of wood and put a house door knob in. Well the wood had broken and wore on the skin BAD. Do you think I can fix this or should I take it some place and have a whole new skin put on? then they put on a lock hasp and now i have these four screw holes to fix

Hard to say. you can buy some of that tiny diamond pattern metal aftermarket. another option might be to rivet a patch over it and just straighten out what you can. Once you patch, seal and paint it i don't know how much it will be noticed.
The PO replaced the wood in our door, and replaced the bargman latch with a new paddle RV latch. Which is fine by me. Someone at some point had hasp on ours too. I just filled the holes with sealant and trimmed it, once painted it wont be seen.
Depends on if you are going for glam resto or just a functional trailer that looks better from about 10ft back

I like the diamond plate idea. I want the trailer to look good but alos want to be having fun with it this summer also. I have a habit over overdoing things. I am thinking quick fix on it now and then new door skin maybe next winter if I the fix bugs me too much over the next year. Thanks
