Wondering what everyone had/has for the ORIGINAL paint scheme on their Shasta...
You may vote once. You may also reply here with the MODEL and YEAR of your trailer. If you know you may also add what factory it came from. You are also welcome to post a photo of the trailer when it was still in original paint.
I am curious if there are any trends from year to year as to what colors were popular and sold well.
I know that there are different shades but try to put yours into one of the above categories. I put "coral" on there but I'm not sure what Shasta called that pink-ish color. I also realize that most were painted with an OFF-WHITE but I am calling it WHITE for the purposes of this Poll. If your's was not painted one of the above colors, please put a reply with the original color/ scheme.
Again, this is for the ORIGINAL factory paint. Please do not vote if you don't know what color your trailer was painted from the factory.
I will start...

Penny was a '63 silverside from the factory but someone along the way decided to change that to white and turquoise.

I don't think I have seen any documentation about Shasta's leaving the factory unpainted. Anyone seen any documentation? I have never even seen any period pictures of such trailers.
That white/ turquoise paint job sure looks factory.

61 Airflyte. No idea where it was built, but I know there is a code somewhere that corresponds with the VIN number.
I'd also be interested to know what color schemes people have decided to go with on their restorations.

1961 Shasta Compact Yellow and White I think she's a total California native, she still has her balck plates. The green tag says Northridge, Ca but I've yet to find the magic letters and numbers on the hitch to know for sure.
Some day soon, she'll be white and lime green. We wanted her to really stand out!

Our 59' 19 Deluxe is turquois and white, almost the same as 55/6/7 Chev Belair two-tone. I'm pulling the waterrheater door off to take to Napa and try to match (backside of door not as faded) Any factory colour #'s exist?? Attachments:

Now that I see some picture of turquois trailers, I think I voted the wrong way. I thought mine was a faded baby blue. That's the color scheme we plan to go with when repainting.

Add Tourquiose to the poll?

I would add turquoise if I could but there is only so many spots available in a poll on this site. One of the small limitations the forum has.
Those folks with turquoise trailers can just click none of the above and add a reply with their original trailer colors and information.

1967 LoFlyte -- tan and white but I'm thinking it's a faded burnished gold. It's got that funky little (teeny) diamond pattern in the aluminum like the wings do but only on the stripe sections.
Not sure what color she's gonna get redone but that beige needs to go asap! Interior is whitewashed paneling which I'm going to paint a cream color, appliances are avocado green.
I'd like to find a burnished gold metallic and restore her to somewhat original colors but might just go with a deep yellow striped section with white.
Any suggestions?

Well here I was thinking it was blue and white but that was a second color. It was actually forest green and white. I'm gonna go with some kind of aqua, when I can actually get to paint it.

I voted white / tan but the 67ish to 71's I think are actually white and annodized gold..its not paint, the alum itself is treated in that gold color..

I voted White/tan, but my 1974 (according to the title, I have to learn how to verify that) is white/gold. I don't think the gold color is paint.
