Our Lil 57 is white and yellow. We were unable to find the correct original codes, so the new paint will be GM Colonial Cream (yellow) and Artic White, so it will match the 58 Biscayne.

I have a 69 Shasta 1400 that is white (off) and tan (burgundy/brass) stripes. I will probably paint her off white and turquoise or red. No birthplace. This says it all....kevschofield 100 Post Member ** member is offline

My Rosalie is a 1959 Deluxe built in Van Nuys, CA. She is coral and cream (white). I will be repainting her in the original color scheme. Attachments:

Our 1962 Astroflyte is torquise and white from the factory. I'm repainting it using 1955 T-Bird, Skyhaze Green which appears to be identical. The white is identical to Ford's Colonial White. I have both colors on my 1956 Ford.

I could only vote once, but I have two for White and Tan (gold), 1970 Starflyte and 1971 Compact.

My Compact was white on white, I repainted it white on dark grey. I never cared for it so I just repainted the grey a nice shade of Kubota Orange. I will paint any camper as long as I can use tractor paint lol. Attachments:

My 1959 Airflyte is coral/white (salmon/creme). How can I get the paint codes to repaint. My parents had a new 1959 shasta airflyte, it was totally white with silver airflyte stripe, however my father called the color something other than white. It may have been creme. I do not remember. It would be nice to find an employee of the Van Nuys factory, to get production information. Thanks.

Salmon, the closest touch up paint I've found for the Shasta white is Dover White in the Fusion Plastics line by Krylon. It isn't perfect but very close. You could take your trailer to a paint expert and they can probably match it...

My 66 Airflyte was originally white with the orange spear. It came from the Battleground Washington plant. Now it is white with gold spears and gold drip caps.

Hi , My trailer is a 1962 Airflyte it is an aqua bottom (original) plus a very off white on the bottom,(original, even would go so far as to say light beige). On "Oldschools" pic, that appears to be more blue tone to me, thats why I will have to say "aqua".My original seats are the "aqua" color as well. I found that the back "Shasta" sticker was red, does that mean that my missing front and Pas. side stickers would be red also. Thanks, Dwayne

What were the original paint patterns for 64 Shastas? Did they all come with the side stripe from the factory or were there options available? I have a 1500 and in striping many layers of paint off I find red but it seems like it was just a small area on the sides of the back window and some by the door and then the very bottom of the lower panels. It is hard to tell and I have never seen paint patterns other than the stripes for the early '60's. Mark

The 1967 Compact I picked up last month has turned out to be a 1971 Compact, manufactured in Leola Pennsylvania, was and will be again, white with gold stripe, VIN P19517.

My 56 16' was (well, still kind of is) aqua bottom with the high up Z stripe in aluminum, and the top was a light cream/eggshell color (from what I can tell from under the bullet side marker lights anyways!) I love it but I'm not sticking with it when I re skin.. Same high up Z, black bottom with white top, and polished, aluminum, or possibly a silver metal flake stripe, with tiny pink pinstripe accents.. With white wheels, and a pink stripe on the hubcaps in the indent. Same for the propane tanks Not quite original, but I'm keeping the interior as original as possible!!

Don't paint your propane tanks black, the darker the color the more they will absorb heat, the heat causes increased pressure and could explode. Also as I am finding out some people(U-Haul) won't fill painted tanks no matter what color they are so check around!
