We have another great gathering planned, in which we will be celebrating Tearjerkers being around and bringing people together for the past 15 years. We would like to invite you to attend this event with us. It will be May 2-6, 2012 in Charleston, SC. at the Oak Plantation Campground. Here is a link to our website. tearjerkers15thbirthdayparty.weebly.com/There are past photos from a few of our gatherings, as well as a Registration Form and activities. There will be an activity to participate in everyday, if you chose to. Saturday Night Dinner will be catered and we will be having Awards Night following the dinner....Best Teardrop Camper, Best Vintage Trailer, Traveled the Furthest, etc. Charleston, SC is a beautiful historic city and what better setting to host this Birthday Party. Thanks for the invitation! We had a great time meeting you all at Devil's Fork this past September and look forward to joining you in Charleston.
So - all you Shasta forum campers, here's a ready made get together with a great group of people. And if you're looking for some great ideas on fixing up your camper, you'll find them here.
Thanks again, Ross. We'll see you in May. Bob and Phyllis

We attended the Devil's Fork gathering too, and had fun admiring all of the Teardrop and Shasta trailers. I have pictures of most of them on my blog. We were camping in the oddball 1968 Avion! We may have to camp in a separate section 'cause there is no way our Avion can double up on a site. But, that is a great idea to cut costs and be able to group more Teardrops together.

Melanie, our Social Director, has an area for people that want or need an entire site and it is in the same area as the rest of us. This way we will all be together. It was fun meeting you and Don at Devils Fork. I still haven't gotten far enough along on our Starflyte to measure up for awnings Hope to see you in May!

Our paperwork is on it's way to Melanie. We plan on getting there early Friday morning. I think that May might be the best time to visit Charleston; might even go to Folly Beach.

I finally rolled my rebuilt Nomad out of the barn a few weeks ago. It hadn't moved in about five years - when I put it in the barn and tore it down. It'll be done in time for the Charleston get together. So if you see something that looks like an overgrown teardrop - that'll be us.

This was a TOTAL Blast! A BIG THANK YOU to David & Melanie and Jimmy & Peggy for organizing this and a round of applause to ALL of the volunteers. It was nice for Carla and I to be able to take a back seat to this one.
There was so much to do, Board Games with Jeff, Betsy & Eric, Dutching with David, Krafts with Karin, White Elephant Party, Corn Hole Tournament, Music with Marvin, Derby Party with Sherry, Alisa & Kim and all of the great food!! What more could you want!
A special thanks to our sound & audio techs, Jeff and Betsy for 2 movie nights. We watched the Long, Long Trailer and The Patriot
We raised $563.00 for St. Judes!!
It was great seeing Bob and Phyllis again. The Nomad is an awesome piece of work!!
Eric couldn't have stated it better "Without each and everyone of you there, it never would have been the great party it was".
As soon as Carla gets the pictures uploaded, I will get them posted.
