We had a great turnout this past September at Devils Fork State Park in SC. Hope to see everyone at Lake Wateree!
END OF SUMMER FUN AT THA LAKE *2012* September 13-16, 2012 Lake Wateree State Park in Winnsboro, SC
Plan on joining us on the banks of Lake Wateree. Lake Wateree is one of South Carolina''s premier fishing and boating destinations, and Lake Wateree State Recreation Area provides ideal access to the 21-mile long, 13,700-acre reservoir. The park also offers a tackle shop with refueling dock.
My husband and I are going to look at our schedule and see if we can make it. We would love to meet some fellow VTSF members. We are newbies so we are ready to "pick" the brains of those more knowledgeable than we Thanks for posting the info!
There are a few of us that will be participating in the Formal Friday Night Dinner. Basically, you would head down to your local thrift store, Goodwill, etc and pick up a cheap suit / pants & sports jacket / evening dress or gown. Something that you won't mind if it gets dirty from camping! This is meant to be fun, but if you are planning on participating, ya gotta dress tha part. In other words, this dinner has a "Dress Code".
This will be a "Bring Your Own Steak" to grill or your favorite grillin' food & a Side Dish to share and join us. We will be dining on white linens with candelabras, over looking Lake Wateree. This will be Fine Dining at it's best!!
Carla and I will provide the baked potatoes & tha fixins and will have a grill for those who would like to use it. Depending on the number of people attending, we may need another grill or two.
We will need a head count of those who will be attending the Formal Friday Night Dinner.
Carla and I just got back from the local Goodwill store and spent less then $20.00.
