I'd like to buy a Shasta soon, but the only place I can put it right now is my back yard since I currently have 3 cars (plus my college-aged daughter's car when she's home), a boat and two motorscooters. I'm worried about getting it under my breezeway, which is almost 8 feet. Would there be any problems clearing this height with any of the smaller models? Do I just need to move to a house in the country so I have a place to put all my vehicles? ;D

My 69 Compact is 7'-6" tall. I do not have vent on roof so you would have to consider that on others. Probably adds 2-3 more inches to height.

you need to get some exact measurements, if it is close, you can flip the axles to make it sit higher or lower, some low profile tires will lower it a couple of inches as well, but that will make it harder to tow on un-level ground,
the best solution would be some short wheels and tires, and swap them out to get under your breezeway, but would be a big pain in the butt every time you took it out.

I just measure a 1961 Shasta Compact 12 that I am working on for a friend. The way it is sitting right now with the tongue slightly elevated (normal bumper height) it is about 7' 8" to the top of the vent lid. If the tongue is lowered it will progressively get lower but I didn't have time to check this out. They make a trailer ball on a set of roll around wheels which allows you to manually move these light weight units. If it will help you I can take time tomorrow to lower the tongue down and make a measurement??

i measured ours (more to make sure i knew its clearance height) we have the maxxair cover over our vent so ours sits higher anyway. ours sitting level is about 98" or so.
Our axle is set to the lowest option already, the tires are 24" diameter so i agree that if you could locate some sort of small tire you might shave a couple of inches

Move to the Country! LOL.
LoFlytes are usually lower but watch for the fridge vent. If it has a propane fridge, the vent is about 6 inches above the roof. 8 feet is really close unless you can dolly it thru...
