So I am going to try simple it down for myself. If the wiring looks ok and works. Do I need to rewire my 61 compact? I seem to remember seeing something about something needing to be replaced? Thank you! Jill

I wouldn't rewire it for nothin' if it looks okay and works for you! That darn RV place rewired mine when it didn't need it and just confused me.

not all fuse boxes, but the Federal Pacific made ones. There have been problems with Federal Pacific breakers not functioning as intended and starting fires

It wasn't all Fed Pacific, they got a bad rap for some of their residential boxes that got over loaded and fuses didn't trip. The ones in the trailers I believe are fine. Its kinda like Ford and the Pinto! I think the biggest issue is you can't add fuses since their no longer available.
