well I was installing my fantastic fan, and you have to run the wires as well.
this is what I found out, you can drill a hole through the 1x2 inside your vent hole the one on the street side,
I found out if you remove the fuse box, (mine is in the cabinet next to the hole) there is a slot cut in the wall, about 4 inches by 1/2 inch, and I was able to stick a small piece of wire through the hole I drilled and fish it out of the 4 inch hole behind the fuse box. then tape the wires to the wire I fished through the hole and pull your wires through. this allows you to wire in a 12 volt converter in the cabinet without having to remove or cut into the roof or wall, just an idea someone might need to avoid tearing into the walls or roof.
