Just returned from our first camping expedition with the Frolic. It was only a Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning trip, but it was nice to get it out. All in all, not a bad trip. I'll start off with the bad. 1)Filled the H2O tank and then overlayed with pressure. Sprung a leak somewhere inside the trailer. 2)The little plastic cap that screws back into the plug where the hose hooks on to cracked and we couldn't keep the pressure in the tank. Didn't really matter as I had to drain the tank anyway. 3)The electric hook-up was on the opposite side of the trailer and our electrical cord couldn't reach. So as you can see from the pic, I had to pull it in rather than back in. Fortunately we had room to do this. The good. 1)Out of 150 or so camp spots, we had the only vintage trailer. I am guessing no one was within 30 years of ours. 2)Multiple older couples stopped by to tell us they loved the camper. 3)Nothing else broke, the portable a/c worked well, and the awning looked nice even though set up on concrete. Not sure when our next trip will be as Disney is coming up in less than 2 weeks now, but I am having someone else fix the water leak, I am not messing with this one. Attachments:

hey that looks pretty sweet! for a first trip out sounds like a great success ;0 feels great having the only trailer there with some character. cant own these trailers and be un-friendly or expect to be hermit. awning looks great too!
little odd, the location of the power box if you ask me. i dont think i have ever encountered the box on the curb side of the trailer. weird, glad you had the space to pull it in opposite direction. some campsite we have seen (never chosen) have you backing in with the curb side of the trailer facing the water, or on the opposite side of the picnic table etc etc. i question what the developer/designer was thinking when they made it.

Glad that your first trip out was a good experience and you had fun. We love being the vintage trailers in a sea of fiberglass.
We were at a gathering in Charleston, SC and the campground was set up weird, as well. One double 30amp power pole for 2 sites and the pole was in between the 2 sites.
