My son works in a metal fab shop for street rods and made mine. The hardest part would be getting the old ones out. Mine were between the frame and the floor. It costed me about $50 for the metal and took him no time at all to make them. They were almost exactly like wheel tubs they use on race cars. Check Jegs onlune..

Ours were rusted through and also between the frame and the floor, but we replaced the old floor, so getting them out wasn't so bad. We had a metal fab shop do ours, too. I wish we'd had a family member who could have done them, they set us back about $150, but it gave somebody a bit of income, and they turned out really nice.
