OK - my 1968 (per Ross) or 1969 (per title) Shasta Compact was rear ended while being transported. I have measured the piece of rear skin that I need and it appears to be 78 1/2 inches wide by 41 3/4 high. Does that seem right?
I thought these trailers were 7 feet wide? Are they 6 1/2 feet? I am looking for the skin and I'm very confused about the width.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

argh, I;m so sorry for your loss my compact exterior is out of shape so i can't confirm but the interior is 76" so 78.5" is probably right for the exterior

If you're ordering skin, add an inch or two to be safe. It can always be trimmed smaller...

Hemet Valley RV is the only place I have found that carries this. I have found nothing local. Here is the quote: 1 pc 41.1/2” x 78 ¾” .024 polar white $78.30
Set up charge $16.00
Packaging $36.40
Freight $201.53
Wow...I knew the freight would be costly but I wasn't prepared for that. B.
