Well, I finally added a Shasta Astrodome to my collection of drawings. I started this one in January, working a few minutes here and a few minutes there, and finally finished it this evening (kind of like working on the real deal ). I'd like to create more drawings but it's just so hard to find the time. Guess I'll have to wait for winter again... Here is a link to my Flickr photostream which has my other Shasta drawings: www.flickr.com/photos/30648801@N05/If the link doesn't work or goes to a page that says Page Not Found, COPY and PASTE the link into your web browser. That should work. Later, Jay Attachments:

Very nice. Technical, but not too much. Love it.

Very nice work once again Jay. Have you had any luck yet finding your Shasta?

Thanks Jim. No luck yet, but I've kind of turned down the search a few notches...been way to busy (heck, it took me over 3 months to finish a simple drawing ). Right now I would say I'm not willing to travel far to get one so that eliminates a lot of them that I see for sale online. A few show up in western Wisconsin from time to time and I put my max. bid in and am eventually outbid by at least a grand or more. A few have popped up here in MN but the cost was way out of my range. I doubt I will ever find one in my range online. It seems the people who sell on Craigslist or ebay know people will pay good money, regardless of the shape it's in. Later, Jay

Hi Jay I just sent you a flickr mail, asking for permission to use one of your drawings for a quilt block I'm making for the Bed in new to me 1956 Shasta. Happy to give you credit on the block, or even make you a square of your own for a pillow when you get hold of your own camp trailer.

Jay, I hope you are doing some commercial activities with your drawings. They are terrific! Seems like if you did a limited run of signed and numbered prints on the right medium...art paper, canvas or even aluminum and then used the proceeds to purchase a Shasta it would be win-win.
