This is the number on the side of the Hitch look like V1339 that really all I can make out.....I also have pics for the number on the side of the sink...looks like FEB 6/10/58 but not clear either and there are lots of numbers on the top of the Hitch..I am trying to find the exact year, I am thinking a 58 or 59 just from pictures I have seen....Any help in the model # or just any info would help.... flic.kr/p/dyaC4Gflic.kr/p/dyaEi1flic.kr/p/dy5bmp |

Welcome to the board, one of our members on here has a database he has put together by combining know years with VIN numbers. he will chime in shortly and maybe give you some info.

Based on your VIN, you have a 59' Shasta. Do you have an Airflyte?
Sometimes the dates on the sinks and mirrors can be misleading. Parts were sometimes purchased in bulk and these parts may sit in a warehouse for months and even a year or two before being used.

Awsome.l..thanks so much....I am really new to the Shasta campers, so how do I know if I have an airflyte...I have looked at tons of pics but after a while they kinda start looking alike to me..what would be the major difference in the two??

Any suggestions, comments, would be great..can anyone share a link with me that breaks down exactly where to start..roof, floor, inside, outside...just some kind of info on where to start...the floor actually seems good..now the wall and ceiling is a whole different story..

You might find the VIN also stamped on the street side of the tongue, on the inside of the bottom ledge on a little welded-on plate... It kinda looks like it might be hiding behin the crossmember in your 1339 pic, right below the rusty spot...
