I live in Wisconsin, and recently purchased my first 63 Shasta. Does anyone know if you can get collector, antique, or any specialty type plate that you know of? Also, does it have to pass inspection before titling?, as she has no electrical yet. Thanks in advance.~Deidrea

www.dot.wisconsin.gov/drivers/vehicles/title/mobile-home.htmI looked a little, but did not find anything specific to inspection. You may need to make a visit to a DMV office and find a nice clerk who would be willing to answer your specific questions. I am still unsure in my home state of New York about registering a trailer with "vintage" plates. I have read that they can be ordered but find no provision for ordering "trailer" plates on the web. So I am facing a trip to DMV myself. I purchased a very old plate off eBay for mine. I am not sure it will be legal to tow with, but while it is parked, I can always hang the plate over the real one for display purposes. A while back someone posted up this site, where you can have custom plates made up, but I am not too sure that they could be made legal to actually use on the road. Nice display piece though... www.licenseplates.tv/1963_wisconsin_state_2325.html?=

It can be done. It might take a little wooing with flowers and candy, but it can happen.
Find a not-so-busy branch and go on a not-so-busy day, and a relaxed environment can help you find someone who is either bored or really likes to help.
