I just recently got comfirmation from the Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally Coordinator (Robert) that the 4th Annual Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally will be once again this Father's Day Weekend which should be Friday June 14 through Sunday June 16. This is a great Rally in a really historical town. It is a two night stay over, I believe there is no charge, and on Saturday night they have a Pot Luck Dinner so every can socialize. Hope to see everyone there.

I think my father and I will be coming this year. I've heard great things about this event through the teardrop trailer group we camp with sometimes. I'll bring the 1969 Starflyte and my Dad will probably bring his 1961 Airstream Bambi. Hope to meet you guys there! I love finally putting faces to the avatars. Is there a swap meet of some kind? My wife loves when I come home with more trailer stuff! **sarcasm**

Thanks Boneneck, I will be looking forward to them contacting me. There really isn't a Swap Meet so to say but I am a picker and I always bring things with me to sell. Many others sell trailers, parts, etc throughout the weekend. There is also a Rally in Issaquah on the 4th and 5th of May. See my postings for XXX Root Beer Rally. Looking forward to meeting you also.

I want to go! My husband has been to Roslyn, and we're both fans of Northern Exposure. About how far would that be from Houston?

paigenmarc,
It is about 35 hours to get to Roslyn from Houston. It is a very nice senic drive pretty much the whole way through. Great time of year to travel across the West and to the Pacific Northwest. I moved here to the Olympia area from Fort Worth Texas and have made the drive a few times.

XXX is a great event! We were there last year and had a lot of fun. I plan on making it out there again this year and can't wait for the camping season to start! Now that I think about it I should get the trailer out and go camping next time the forecast is even remotely dry.

Oh man, I'd love to do it. I don't think my husband has enough vacation! I'd want to take about 2 weeks and see everything. Daisy, which way did you go? What route?

Houston to Amarillo Amarillo to Denver Denver to Cheyenne Cheyenne to Salt Lake Salt Lake to Boise Boise to Roslyn
However I headed West after Boise and drove to the Oregon Coast and then up to Olympia. Like I said, very beautiful drive.

Is this site Shasta's only or would a 67 Aloha from Burien be allowed?

I just found a website called www.oldtrailer.com that lists a lot of rallies around the country and the Roslyn event is listed on there. If you join Tin Can Tourist you will get invites to rallies and events around the country. Another group that puts on rallies is ROVT out of Oregon. There are so many events, you could do one every weekend. I will be doing a new vintage farm show in Walla Walla that weekend and camping with my trailer there so I won't be going to Roslyn but I know you all will have a great time. Hope the weather is good! Mindy

We will be there but the McTini Lounge won't be ready yet! We plan on stopping in Friday night on our way to Spokane. We went to Roslyn a few years ago and had a great time. Looking forward to the swap meet. I might even bring a few surplus parts from our 62.

My husband and I will be at the Roslyn Vintage Trailer Rally this year for the first time. We have a '59 Shasta and have been at the Mt. Baker Rally two times. We met some great folks there and look forward to this event. We will be bringing some vintage trailer items to sell. See you there!

Just another week and a few days before we all are together again. We had such a blast at Issaquah and can't wait to see some of you at Roslyn. Olyshasta, it was great meeting you in Issaquah and even though McTini Lounge is not ready, we are glad that you will be stopping in to say high. We are hoping to get in sometime around mid to late afternoon on Friday June 14th. If you have a second, could you please respond if you will be attending and what you will be driving/pulling.

It was a great rally! Lots of trailers and getting bigger. We were there two years ago and it was less than half the size back then. Must have been over 50 trailers I would imagine.
