Hi everyone. I am another newb and from Orange County, CA. I have been wanting a vintage trailer for a long time but lately the obsession and search has been at an all time high. My parents live in Oregon (thay are full time RVers) and I would love to be able to hitch a trailer, load up my kids and Goldendoodle and go visit them! And when I say obsessing, I'm not kidding. Is there a rehab help section somewhere on this board? Convincing the hubster is a whole other challenge.... I have been a long-time lurker and never made an account since I don't have a trailer and feel like a black (or pink for me) sheep outsider. But I have to say I appreciate the sense of community y'all have here and the humor some of you have is fabulous! So hopefully someday I can join you soon! The Pink Sheep

Good luck on your search. I am lucky that my husband enjoys our trailer as much as I do. :-)

You might want to get your folks on board with your search. I have seen a lot of listings that come from the PNW/Oregon/ Washington area. There are also some terrific members on here from that area as well. I know that is not a lot of help in Cali, but there are other members that may (or may not...Cali is a pretty good-sized state...) be close by also.
Best to you in your search. Breathe. Cut down on the coffee...those are about the only things you can do when the obsession hits...

Yes, that is good advice. I do look at Oregon and surrounding areas and my dad could go pick it up and have it waiting for us. My next challenge would be storage. Since we have a stupid HOA and no room on the sides of the house, I wish I could find something that could be stored in our two car garage. RV storage fees are very high here. Orange County is not a very trailer owning-friendly place to live.....

welcome to the board, and good luck with your search. I agree that where your parents live is prime shasta hunting area.

Welcome! And don't be fooled... what you see as sense of humor is really just poorly disguised desperation.

LoFlyte LoFlyte Loflyte. No refrigerator (chimney won't clear the garage) and preferably with lowering wheels...

Glad I'm not the only one in OC who's obsessed!

I know what you mean about obsessing! I have been all in since we were giving our Hammy over a month ago. I read this forum, search pictures, went to a rally, dream about how I am going to paint, build things in my head, have trouble focusing on work. It's awesome!
