Hi all, I'm a new (and very excited owner) of a 1968 Shasta Starflyte. I take delivery this Fri and am planning on her first outing to be in Lindsborg, KS the first weekend of May. I appreciate all the help this forum gives. My first question: Do you have to keep the Shasta "totally vintage" to belong to this forum, or can a little personal decorating take place.... think Glamping. Thanks mucho!

No you most certainly don`t HAVE to keep your Shasta vintage to be a member of this forum. However...........Its kinda frowned upon and upsetting to a lot of folks if one should find a pre 65, birch interior, in good to pristine condition and then paint over the birch . But at the end of the day it is YOUR camper to do with as you want. Anything newer than a 65 is pretty much, no holds barred. In fact the saying seems to be "If its not birch, paint it". So, glamp away and enjoy
