As part of the process of registering my Shasta here in Canada I need a letter from Shasta stating what recalls if any were done for the Shasta 1400, year 1969. Does anyone have any ideas. The new Shasta Co won't help Thanks Liz Hickling

Hi Liz,
I purchased a 1959 Shasta Airflyte from Michigan and brought it back to Ontario in November - you don't need the recall clearance letter because the trailer is older than 15 years (no need to worry about the RIV program ... yay!). Just make sure you have the title and a bill of sale, then you'll have no problem registering your Shasta and getting a license plate. If you need any more info/help just let me know!

Hey Liz... I'm not sure why the Alberta Registry won't just accept a bill of sale with the VIN, the model and year? I'm interested in how this goes down for you, as we're going to try and pick up the '58 we just purchased in BC on the weekend, and my understanding from the registry office is just the Bill of Sale, VIN, model, yr....let me know if you're encountering something different.
