Hi Everyone,
My wife and I recently purchased a 14' 1964 Shasta. It currently has a heater installed on the exterior shell. I would like to remove this as my wife and I have no need for it; however, I'm not sure how to do so. Anyone have any suggestions or experience doing this?
I will provide pictures for everyone's reference. I look forward to hearing from everyone!
Ross

Apparently the forum has exceed the limit for attachments; therefore, I'm unable to post the pictures...
Does anyone know what I'm referring to, anyway?

If you are talking about the external "exhaust", I took a grinder with a cutting wheel to mine just this afternoon. The exhaust often won't come apart and to do repairs, the housing has to come off the trailer. When new, the two pipes slipped apart. After use, not so easy.

Not sure if it looks like mine (see my avatar picture), but once I removed the heater from the closet (a series of screws held it to the cabinet, and the gas connection had to be unhooked) the exhaust pipe sections simply slid apart. They were just friction fit together. Then the exhaust port was unscrewed from the skin. By the way, I'm missing the exhaust cover (again, you can see this in the avatar picture) so let me know if yours appears to match, and if so, let me know if you would like to sell it? You can see more pictures of the heating unit I have in my photobucket site. The address is in my signature block. Good luck!
