Anyone have an original 57-56 table they can give me the dimensions for? So far I am figuring 28x39 but I'm not sure what the dimensions for the corner access cut are. You know how they cut the corner to make getting to the seat easier on the street side?

My 1956 1500 table is built with 5/8” plywood. 24” wide at the back/hinged side, 36” long on the curb side, 15” across the front, 12” along the angle, and 27 ¾” long on the road side. The back/hinged side corners are 90 degrees and the curb side front corner is radius. The angled section is rounded also; not sharp turns. On the underside, there are 2 -28” 1x2’s on edge, 3 ½” in from each side and flush with the back/hinge side. The front edge of the 1x2’s is radiused.

I think that covers it all.

I agree - thank you very much! I have to rebuild the table for my 56 1500 so this should be perfect. What kind of bracket holds it to the wall? (I've seen two types - slide in brackets and the one that lowers down...but I don't think the table on this size rests on the bench edges anyway so not sure that is necessary.)

Is your table hinged to a 2 inch wooden stringer that is mounted to the wall under the window or is it hinged right to the front wall itself? This one didn't come with a table and the front paneling had already been replaced once. There wasn't even a table mount there. I need to know this for the proper total length. My seats are 39 inches wide so I think I want to drop back from that at least one or two inches?

Mobil. Mine is on a 1x3inch piece that is table width glued and screwed to the interior framing, not directly to the birch ply. The table is 36 at longest. With the angle cut out on the stove side of the table it works fine getting in and out and is still 2 inches shorter than the benches.
