I would imagine he'll get $4k for that trailer...seems decent.

Unless he spent the same amount of time fixing the rot as he did polishing up the exterior and having those dopey wings made, it's just lipstick on the pig.

Hey, easy Hamlet! Gilda has those same wings right now - some of us have to wait to get our real wings. We are working on it. Apparently, ringing a bell doesn't work.

Oh, dang, and we thought there were wing fairies! We were lucky, in a way. Hamlet was such a mess that we had many, many, many months to find a pair. Funny enough, we actually found them fairly quickly. They came from the same guy who we got the trailer from on E-Bay. We paid more than we did for the trailer. We think he figured that Hamlet was in such bad shape that nobody would ever really put him back together right, and he wanted to make a little extra money. Don't blame him!
It's not so much what the wings on this one look like (although we'd probably like them better not painted) as it is our suspicion that the owner has done the doll-ing up and NOT done the work that really needs to be done. It's nothing specific that he said, more that he DIDN'T say that he did the repairs. And I can almost guarantee that anyone who has done that work is going to want to make sure any potential buyers are aware of it.

I'm with Hamlet on this one. For one thing, I don't like it. Tacky red exterior accents, ugh. (and I'm a RED person) And the interior colors just don't vibe. At all.
The vent looks to be still leaking (water stains) and overall, just fluffed. Lipstick for sure.

The thought of towing a trailer at 85 MPH scares the bejeebs out of me. I generally like the highly polished trailers, but I guess with a Shasta it looks off, just because I know it was not like that originally. To each his own though!!!
