Any Ham Radio Geeks out there? I'm heading from California to Colorado. I will be leaving California on hwy 6 and taking the hwy 6 and 95 and 70 route to Steam Boat Springs. I will hit the Nevada line on Sunday morning sometime.
If you are on a repeater along the route which I will define better before I leave, I would love to make contact. I have a whopping 70 watt output if needed and a 5/8 wave mag mount. I'm on 2 meters only at this time. So let me know where you are and I will let you know when I'm going to pass by and we can have a little chat.

As some of you may already know I am headed to CO to work on a couple of trailers for some nice people and the first stop is Steam Boat springs. I will be on line for the duration of the trip so I'll post lots of photos in this thread. I'll record some of my experiences including some of the Ham Radio contacts made along the way and put it all on You Tube. So please let me know first if you don't want to be on You Tube. LOL
