We bought a 63 1500 in Arizona before Christmas intending to pick her up in May. Instead of making the long trip we decided to just go ahead and have her shipped. Arranged to meet the shipper in Bonafay Florida on I10 as he would be carrying on to Orlando and Bonifay is only 45 mins from us. Had hoped to meet him today but when I called him yesterday to see what time we needed to meet him today, he said he was sick and couldn`t leave Arizona wednesday as planned. He said that he would pick up this morning and meet us Monday. PO called this afternoon and said the trailer had still not been picked up. Called the shipper and he said he couldn`t leave today but will be picking up at 8am tomorrow morning. Does everyone have this problem?

Well, you know how mine went. . But Tony was super, and hopefully he'll be on his way soon. I've been wondering what was going on and watching for your pics of it.

Well he didn`t show up this morning but did call and say he`d be there this afternoon. He didn`t show up this afternoon either so PO called him and he said he`ll pick up tomorrow (Sunday) morning 6am. Its been towed. We sent the PO $300 for new tires and bearings.

How did u find a shipper Are they towing or on a flatbed trailer It`s a shipper that lopo had used in the past. He did explain this afternoon when he called me, that he`d had to fire a family member and that it had put him in a bind. Now he said that instead of us meeting him in Florida, he`s going to check his route and try to bring it all the way to the house or at least to within a few miles.

(if it needs it) The PO sent me gobs of pictures and it looks camp-able as is but we intend doing a restore as she shows signs of previous leaks, in the rear especially. Just normal stuff for her age. I was just looking for a ham 1500 with decent skin and complete interior.
