Don`t know about everyone else but this blue is killing my eyes. Is there a way to change the color? I found the recent posts......bottom right!

Ha! I will miss not having a tab to see which threads are the latest. But we do have an official glamping section now. At the bottom of the home page there is a box labeled forum information, in the first box on the bottom left, there is a link for recent post. I however miss the VSTF logo. |

I definitely don't like it. It's a lot harder to read. Too much blank space on the page.

I don't see it - Forum Information? I see "More topics from this board," but these are not the most recent. Boandsusan, my background is the same pale yellow we had - not sure why you're seeing blue? And Schweet sees recent posts on left, Boandsusan on right, and I don't see them at all. Hmmmm . . . lots to learn to get up to speed.

I've worked for a few boards before. The Administrator can change and doll up everything here. Right now it's in the stripped down mode waiting for the Admin to customize the look if it's anything like other boards I've dealt with. So be patient. I'm sure it will be "Glamped" up once the Admin get's to work on it.... In the meantime I agree, this is kinda tough on the eyes.

This blue is doing my head in....and I can barely read the small print when I`m typing a reply. Has anyone noticed that there are a lot of ALIEN LOOKING heads LOL LOL.

The admin has to set a whole bunch of settings to upgrade the style of the board from the basics. I've been seeing it happen already.... Im sure you will like it better once it's all finished and running smoothly again. |

Has anyone noticed, almost all the "archived" trailer photos are gone! Says "This forum has exceeded its upload format." I do hope they aren't permanently lost, that would be a real shame.

Well when they are done, I sure hope the look and navigation isn't anything like this and more like the old format. Recent threads tab at top is a must!

Let the Admins get things added and worked out.. it always takes time to make a new forum format look great.. I've seen it on many forums.. there is a change to a more robust platform and everyone freaks out LOL.. As for recent posts.. I've already changed my 'favorites' link to this site to the following.. vintageshasta.proboards.com/threads/recent#So when I click VSTF in my favorites list, it brings me directly to the recent threads.. Then I can click on the menu bar up top to get to other specific forum areas if I want. I like pro boards better than what we had.. give it a little time and get used to it.. its a better setup. Change is weird, that's for sure. I do like the option at the top to see which threads i have "participated" in. Saves me from clicking through posts i thought i commented on but didn't etc etc. I know you could do that as a search in the old format but its neat just having it on the front page and it giving you a list of whats got new posts.
New rule on here though. Everyone must have an avatar. That alien head has got to go. That's got to be the creepiest default avatar I have ever seen.

We need a "back to the top" button or am I missing it?
Found it! It is at the top right. You have to click on the down arrow and it is in the choices. I liked it better at the bottom of the post where you could see it. This is going to take some time getting used to.

That's how they force things on the internet these days. They just do something that bugs the sh#t outta you until you break down and do it their way. Google does that all the time and the only two choices you have is to click on OK or click on ASK ME LATER... There is never a button for I LIKE IT THIS WAY SO LEAVE ME THE HECK ALONE!.....

Ya I hit the "like" button yesterday just to see if it worked. How come we don't have a "hated" button. Or maybe a "I wasn't really thrilled about it" button. Or a "you can take your calking and shove it up your BEEP" button?  Go read the intructions on how to use the new format and then if there are things you would like to see added, go to the "Forum Feedback" section and let the admins know. Probably get a lot quicker action than making suggestions all over the board in different threads. |
