I think that glamping is in the eye of the beholder. For some it is merely camping with a few extra comforts. For others it is living room furniture. I don't consider us to be "glampers" outside of rallies. Regular camping trips the most we do is put out some tiki lights, a couple flamingos, and maybe our site sign and/or awning. But when we are given the oppertunity to show our camper off to fellow vintage trailer-ites, I feel that most of the fun is in staging the camper and site in a way that reflects our personalities as well as the campers. We both share a love for old things so we decorate with as many period artifacts, but we also try to keep our decor to our red, white, and black color scheme. ;D

Yes Please!! I love this idea... the restoration area are completely covered, but this site does lack some decorating ideas/advice, so I'm in!

Thanks all for the nice compliments. paigenmarc... my Princess works perfectly. The temperature is always accurate, but I also use a thermometer as Hamlet mentioned. |

I just don't want to end up like those poor husbands that the Sisters On The Fly drag around with them... As long as I have my little corner to sit in with a beer in one hand and my dog's leash in the other, Im happy.
Oh and I'm looking for a new four legged friend to camp with. I've been without Tabby for 10 months now and I just can't stand it any longer.

Do dogs just show up for you guys? Man, the dog police are so strict around here that a stray out looking for a new friend just doesn't happen anymore. My DH says maybe other states aren't so bad, and I'll find a travel buddy on my road trip. I try the shelters, but the rescue groups snatch them (except the pit bulls) out of the shelters before the rest of us get a chance, and some of those groups have become the worst dog police at all.

I past a very nice looking brick building whose huge, dog bone shaped sign read "BED AND BISCUIT" I just keep getting a visual of that sign hanging over the entrance to your campsite lol |

I left it there for the length of the time I owned the truck. Seemed to fit the bill pretty well. |
